...an article about the pros/cons of SFF? I'm in the market for a new rig within the next 6 months, not sure where to go...but the SFF seems attractive and I'd like to learn more.

I dont have a link, but you need to ask yourself why you want a SFF computer in the first place.
Do you need more desk space, do you need to take it with you (lan parties), do you like the way they look (coolness factor), etc...
The last reason is the only reason Im into SFF (namely Shuttle XPCs).
BUT, you'll never be able to get a SFF as quite as you would a normal sized ATX computer, relatively speaking, temps will always be higher in a SFF, you probably wont be able to overclock as much, you dont have much of an option to upgrade, etc...

you can overclock pretty well. i have a mobile 2600 at 2.5ghz but u can't overclock that WELL from a full size motherboard.

Well, that's what I meant.
There are always tradeoff's when going SFF.
