My KT266A motherboard recently got fried so I bought a new board, MSI K7N2 Delta ILSR. I'm still using 1GB of my old crucial 2100 DDR. 2 sticks of 512. Can these chips run Dual Channel? Or would I have to get new memory?

does it have to be special memory? How does this work anyways, how do you enable the dual channel ddr feature? On newegg.com you can buy memory in pairs, do you have to do this? or as long as they are the same sticks u can dual channel them?

Usually as long as they are the same they will work with a dual channel board. although PC3200 would definitly spice things up for you when you get the chance to upgrade. Your two dimms of PC2100 should work okay. I don't think you have to enable anything in bios just put the memory in the correct slots. I'm not familiar with your mobo but with my mobo that's how it works.

Yea, my ASUS also just automatically went into 128 bit (dual channel) mode when I added the 2nd stick in it.

I just had the same issue, my p4 died and i won a MSI kt880 motherboard, so tonight i bought a amd xp 3200+ and OCZ Enhanced Latency Series Dual Channel Optimized 184 Pin 512MB(256MBx2) DDR PC-3200 for mine. I was going to use my 512mb pc2100 chip but decided against it.
