I am currently looking for hardware to use to build 2 m0n0wall (http://m0n0.ch/wall/index.php) firewalls. I have been considering the soekris (http://soekris.com) 4801 but, it seem like a lot of money for not a whole lot of computing power. I know that this is only going to be a firewall and so it may well be enough. I'd just like to have something where I know that it can support numerous vpn tunnels etc.

Any ideas? I'd like to keep the cost at ~$300 per unit.

Have you considered The WRAP? (http://store.yahoo.com/ituner/wrapboard1c.html)

Only 64mb of ram in that one. That's the minimum for m0n0wall and I'd really prefer at least 128mb. The price was nice though. I'd also have to find a case for it.

Anyone else?
