I cant remember if u can mix different sizes of ram...
im running a Barton 2500+ as a 3200+. Right now I have 2 sticks of 256 pc 3200 and its running as duel channel(obviously). If i bougt 1 stick of 512 for a total of 1 gig pc3200, will that be okay? ( i only have 3 slots for ram ).

it will work as 1gig of PC3200 RAM fine.... with AMD barton chips there really isn't true "dual" channel anyways so either way you'll be fine... I did the same thing in my A7N8X deluxe system and on boot up it still said it was running in dual channel... ?? I'm sure it will work out fine for you as well..

That is ok, just check you mobo manual for the proper slot for the larger stick.

how would this effect OC performance? I hear that having more ram modules decrease the potential FSB that can be gained.
