Using the 3500 and I have had 0 problems for about a year now. It can take a lot of voltage too :)

I have the golden dragon 3200. I am running it at 210 mhz 2-4-4-8, I am still playing with it. Set the voltage as high as your bios allows, mine is @ 2.8. Yes it does look spiffy and even cooler in person. I found out the red LED's are a little fragile though (one of the 2 burned out in 4 months).

Another thing that got me is that there are holes drilled in the plastic chip covers for cooling but when mine was shipped a sticker covered one side of each. I am debating on removing them but dont want to take a chance of voiding warranty.

My PC4000 has been running fine for about 4 months, although it has really been stressed at all. It is running at the speed listed at 2.55V though, for whatever that's worth.

Little bump for any more comments.

I have 2 x 256mb sticks of the GDD not value series pc3200. I have been running it at 210mhz and 2 3 3 6 1Tever since I got it (back at christmas time) and haven't had any problems with it. I really can't comment on the speed because I don't know how well other RAM performs in my particular mobo. It really does look quite nice, hands down the best looking ram I have seen. I wish I had a window :-(.

But I have a concern, the price just went up a whole lot. I remember seeing the 512mb sticks for $106 shipped at newegg, now they are like $135. Though, it seems like all pc3200 jumped in price.

I love my gig of Geil Golden Dragon PC3200 - would never get anything else as long as Geil is available (unless I require something they dont offer)

I have had two sticks of the 512 MB golden dragon RAM since Feb. with no problems at all. I run them stock because my poor AMD 64 3200 won't overclock much. I decided that it wasn't worth it to get 100 MHZ at this point, so I went back to stock. I really like the RAM because it's stable at stock, and it was dirt cheap when I bought it. I highly recommend it to you.

i have 2 sticks of it too, love them

so mister rogers, you pumped the voltage up all the way?

how much of a better OC did you get from them then?

11.5x210 would be awesome if i could get that by upping the voltage

I got GeIL pc4000 512x2 duel ch. for $240 at fry's a few months ago. on Asus p4c-800 deluxe, 2.8Cghz OC to 3.5ghz at 250fsb 2.5-3-4-7 stable(2.5-4-4-7ram default). If U dont OC get a more agressive timing one like 2-2-2-5 or 2.5-2-2-5 if U can(makes a big difference). If U OC like me get these.

I've been using Geil for about a year now in my main machine and my HTPC, looks sexy and had no issues whatsover. Running at 2-3-3-6 1T never tried to push it further.

I don't have the Golden Dragon, but I have the Ultra Platinum PC4000 and it runs great at 275fsb cas 2.5 4-4-7. Too bad my CPU's crap out before that. My system will run at 265, put the memory in a friends computer and his chip will do 275...and the ram took it. I'm impressed that it will go that high...although it doesn't have the tight timings and I can't enable GAT for whatever reason unless the CAS is set to 2.0 (in which case I can't go above 210fsb).

i guess im the weird one here...

ive had the geil dragon pc3200 in my (8rda+/2500+) and it would not run @ 400fsb in dual channel for nothing, with the highest voltage and so fourth. only would run in single channel
(the barton was proven with my corsair)

my other friend has the Geil platinum pc3500, i used it in my asus p4p800, and would not OC for shit past its rating, even with the mobo's 2.8v

other friends geil dragon, one LED burnt out, and runs fine @ 250fsb

I have 2x512 of the PC3500 GD. I got it when it first came out. It will not run at 200FSB on three different mobos (DFI, Abit, and Epox). It does have a lifetime warranty tho.

I have 2x512 PC3500 GGD and IS7.. it won't go beyond 217MHz.. I haven't tried to jack up voltage to the max though.
Interesting thing is I got 2x512 HyperX fPC3200 or a new system I was building, and I was testing it with Geil sticks to see which one OC better. HyperX beat Geil slightly in benchmarks at every FSB speed.
They do look cool though.. however in today's PC.. mem sticks are mostly buried by cables.. I wish I could show it more.

Geil seems to concern themselves more with how good their ram looks, than how well it performs. I don't have much to say about Geil - their ram works just fine (at its intended speeds), after all. But that's not the brand to get if you're serious about overclocking.
