High level benchmark prog request

I've been asked by my boss to find a benchmarking program that runs at a high level like sysmark. We don't want to benchmark the cpu, ram, etc. We want somthing that evaluates speed with windows tasks so when a client says that one computer is running faster than the other when they are identical we can verify this.

Any suggestions? I've googled and checked snapfiles with little success.

How come you don't just get Sysmark?

That's to say I have no idea of any others, and Sysmark is supposed to be one of the best.

Have you tried running PC Mark 2004?

PC Mark runs actual every day desktop applications.
