Hey,

I had a WD 80GB 7200rpm 8MB buffer HD with Windows XP Pro installed on it and was using it for a whlie.
Then I got a 120GB 7200rpm 8MB buffer SATA HD and installed Windows XP Pro on it.

I'm trying to copy files from the old one to the new one, but the newer files that I downloaded on the old one won't copy to the new hard drive. When I am browsing my files, the text of the file that I want to copy is green, and when I try to copy it to the new HD it says: ""Cannot Copy *filename* : Access is denied. Make sure the disk is not full or write-protected and that the file is not currently in use."

Of course, I checked. The file is not currently in use, and the disk is not write-protected and I still have 20GB left on the drive.

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

The green color indicates the files are encrypted, you need to boot your old install of XP and decrypt them first.
