No taskbar Icons

I have lost all my icons on the right hand side beside the clock, I cant see when in online, I can get to any programmes that run in the background, eg F@H or Shareaza ect. Has this happened to anyone else? How do I fix it?

For the heck of it, if in XP, try right-clicking on the taskbar and going to properties. Then check the "hide when inactive" check box to make sure that's cleared. Also, if the box is checked, you can choose to hide any icon with the customize button. So you might check there to make sure that all icons are set to "Always show."

I am betting there is a registry setting that does the same thing, but not sure where it is.

Yeh I thought of that, but the option to put that on is greyed out and the little arrow in the corner that opens up the hidden icons, isnt there.

EDIT: Fixed it, I had turned off taskbar tooltips in TweakUI, but it also took away the icons.

That is the first time ive ever heard of tweakUI doing that with the option you mentioned. Are you sure thats the only thing you did?

Yeh im sure, i had been fiddling the day before in tweakUI so I tohught that it might be that.

Sometimes that happends on my pc when explorer starts craping out on me.

no its tweak ui ive done this before myself

Yeh I reboted heaps but nothing came back, yeh it had happen before that they would dissapear and a reebot would fix it.
