Hey there...everytime I restart Windows XP I keep on getting an error box pop up...here's what it says:

RUNDLL <---Title of window
Error loading C:\WINDOWS\System32\bridge.dll
The specified module could not be found.

It doesn't appear to affect anything...been having this error for a month or two...I don't restart very often...rarely even...and more rarely turn it off...

ANYWAYS...does anyone know what this is??? Would it have been something that Adaware or Norton or something would have deleted or something...should I replace it??? Where can I find one??? Are they all the same??? What should I do about this??? THANX

Apparently it's spyware related. It was possibly removed already, or it needs to be removed.

Either way, it's a redundant DLL whos registry info is equally redundant.

I hope that helps.

I had it too, and yes its spyware related. Problem that on 2003 server it would hang my system. I manually removed the file from my windows\system32 directory, but I got the same error you did. Its an easy fix, just Start--> Run msconfig Go to your startup tab and uncheck bridge.dll and restart.
