When I tried it last, Knoppix didn't have nForce2 drivers in it, so I couldn't get online with it. But that was a little while ago. However, Knoppix's site isn't terribly good and I'm down to 3 CDs which I don't want to waste.

Are there any live CDs with nForce2 drivers? I can't go messing with my hard drive this late in the semester, but I have some free time and I'm BORED WITH ALL MY GAMES! I need to mess around with Linux for a while.

what version of knoppix is it? i could have sworn the latest versions had full support, but maybe my memory is failing me. i do know that overclockix (http://overclockix.octeams.com/) has full support for the nforce2, and it's based off of knoppix 3.4 (with custom additions and other cool fun things for your system). i'd check that out as a sure fire way for nforce2 support.

If you're low of CD's I wouldn't mess around with the buggy 3.4 version of Overclockix. The Technomancer version is more reliable.

The latest Knoppix 3.3, dated 2-16-04 supposedly has the forcedeth Nvidia kernel module.

Some other custom knoppixes also have the drivers; kanotix, morphix, clusterknoppix, and probably a few others.
