So I purchased a new SATA 80 gb hdd and now im having some trouble... apparently my mobo neads the sata drivers to be installed for it to recognize the hdd. i have the cd with the drivers on it, but with the new hard drive i cant install them because they need to be installed from the a: drive and they are too big to fit on a floppy disk. can anyone please help me with a solution to this plus any other hdd installing tips because i am a noobie and i probly should have just gone with a simple ide hdd but its too late now.
thanx

[EDIT]

Ok, so guess what, i am returning the SATA drive and getting a regular old ide. But i was wondering... which brand is the best / most reliable. I've heard that Western Digital is good but ive also been hearing a lot of good things about Samsung as well.
