Card: Promise Ultra 33
Any ideas why 2 cdrom drives on a VIA controller assigned Ultra DMA Mode 2 (Ultra 33) get up to 36x on Nero CD Speed, Yet when connected to the Promise Ultra 33 only get up to 19x when technically there should be no difference, they are both Ultra DMA Mode 2. Unless the Ultra33 is not giving the cd drives Mode 2. It's using XP's signed drivers, with no way to see what mode it's in that I know of.
