Cd-R Problem, need help.

I jsut bought some Imation Cd-R's, and when i put it in my 'LG CD-RW-8080b' it burns upto 3% and then stops burning, saying there was a problem burning onto the disk. My cd burner works fine with other CD-R's except this one. What could the problem be? Also, the program I use to burn is 'CDBurnerXP Pro' and I get an error. I haven't tried another program, so if you guys know a good free cd burner I can try to see the problem, i will. And if i use the windows xp burning software, I get an error dragging a music file into the Cd-R folder.

Simple... get better discs. Imation discs aren't very good.

Well, the site didn't have my burner, but I'm guessing the problem is a hardware issue with the CD-R's?

Yeah, try some other discs, eg. Fuji or Verbatim and see.
