I bought one last night from Newegg and it arrived early this morning. I just installed it and it is whisper quiet...not bad for a 250GB 10meg cache @ 10k rpm. I price matched it at Buy.com and with all of the rebates, I get $25 cash back...not a bad deal at all

APRIL FOOL :p

I got a sample of the 15000 RPM Western Digital T-Rex drive. It sounds like a jet engine, but it's f-f-fast.

To be released next April 1, at projected cost of $800 for 12 gigs.

Hey I pre-ordered mine from TigerDirect. Man I can't wait. I sure hope you opted for the Zalman Copper Platter Edition. I read the reviews and supposedly it dropped HD temps by 20 degrees C  I mean, it was only a matter of time before Copper became the HD platter material of choice. It's so cool.

Well, I received my order of two Raptor 74 GB drives today. NewEgg was thoughtful enough to include a can of Raid insect repellent so that I can RAID my drives with no hassle. Thanks NewEgg!
