Renew/Release IP...? WAN Troubles

Well once again I need help with SuSE ^_^

I managed to fix my install and get everything working, yay!

However, whenever I boot up into SuSE (I am filled with joy eveytime it works!) I need to go into KWiFi Manager and into the Config Editor to activate my wireless network (at home) and then I have to get it to renew the IP, since I don't know how I need to go into the Network config and get it to refresh to renew my Ip...


QUESTION: How can I get it to renew my IP? And how do I get it to connect to any available network within range?

I am not sure that in linux the wireless will do that. I haven't gotten my wireless going in linux yet, but I know many people have custom wireless scripts they run to help with AP association and such. If you want it to renew, I would just take it down and back up again.
