What is ePolicy Orchestrator Agent?

Just noticed this thing running on my work PC. From Network Associates and seems to be connected with McAfee VirusScan. Or is this more sinister corporate snooping?

e-Policy Orchestrator Agent is not spyware. We use this at my organization. Essentially in the old days, IT depts had to set up each individual client to update itself, and scan at regular intervals. Now, NAI/McAfee has come out with ePolicy to make it easier to update. All updating and scanning is done on your computer via the agent. The main ePolicy server sends broadcast messages to the clients telling them when there updates available, and when to scan. Nothing to worry about.
