Atarien V (Shuttle XPC, complete paintjob, custom lcd box..)

This mod has been built around a Shuttle SN41G2B XPC. To my mind it design is both modern (minimalist front , gloss paint with black parts) and retro (70’s Orange). This PC will be used on a contemporary desk and also brought to LANs. The Matrix-Orbital LCD displays various information such as system data, weather, news etc. The keyboard is a Playstation 2 Logitech USB Keyboard. I worked also on the quietness (fans have been replaced, custom grill added etc). The aluminum front is home made, as the paint work.

I can appreciate how much time and skill it took to do that. But to me, that is one of the ugliest, and most useless "mods" I have ever seen. The mouse? :confused: Just not for me at all.

le mouse rotate along an vertical axis, so you clik by moving all the mouse towards the left or the right. A bit confusing the 1st day.
the keybaord is a playstation 2 logitech keybaord, usb plug.
it's a pioneer slot in DVD
the lcd box is in plexiglas

orange ain't my thing but DAMN you did a really nice job, esp getting everything to match.
