Multiple Boot System

Ok I got windows XP Pro and I am about to install windows XP 64-bit, but does windows have a boot selection screen like Mandrake offers allowing you to choose where to boot from? If now how do I choose where to boot from, It will all be on one HD btw.

the windows boot menu is called boot.ini and it is a hidden system file in the root directory

Cool, but how would I enable it to run boot.ini first? Would I have to tell it to boot in dos??

yea, XP will install NTLOADER or NTLDR (the boot menu)

you can see the boot.ini stuff right now. right click my computer, properties, advanced, startup and recovery, settings... and it's all there

installing xp 64bit will probably add itself to the boot.ini, so the menu will show.

if you install the new os, it will auto-add itself to the boot.ini
