I remember seeing a program that would organize your mp3s for you by looking them up in a database or something. I can't remember the name of it. Anyone have any idea what it could be?

Nevermind - I found it.

Yeah, I used it- it got my files organized all nice and neat- some of them anyway. Made nice individual folders for each artist. Thing is- it only got about 1/2-2/3 of the files recognized at all, and there were a few that it recognized- wrong. So I got a couple files renamed and completely filled out with incorrect information. If you're willing to do some work to do what it can't and correct a few mistakes here and there, it's great for setting up a uniform system.

I just ended up sucking it up and using itunes. Set it to NOT autmatically manage your files, then you can load them all in the database, and start sorting. It's a pain, but sure is nice when you're done. :)

I used to use Moodlogic (http://www.moodlogic.com/) but I switched from Winamp to Foobar so now I use Tagscanner (http://xdev.narod.ru/tagscan_e.htm) :)
