Rename the file in the 8.3 format.

All files in a Windows environment have two parts, seperated by a "."
The first part, that preceeds the "." is a unique name (relevant to the 'file extension' that comes after the "."). Keeping this unqiue file name to 8 letters or less will cut down a chance of conflicts that older versions of windows have.
The second part that comes after the "." is a 3 letter 'file extension', such as 'txt', 'ext', 'bat' and so on.
By renaming your files to the '8.3' format, 8 letters before the "." and a 3 letter extension afterwards, you should be able to transfer files fine.
