Audigy + Diablo 2 = no sound

as the topic mentions, i have an audigy and whenever i play diablo 2 i get no sound

im using all the latest creative software
im using boston ba735 digital speakers

my music works fine and all but as soon as i start up diablo 2 everything goes silent and in my creative taskbar system tray icon i lose all my presets

after i leave the game it all goes back to normal

anyone have any ideas ?

btw - i didnt have any of these problems with 1 particular set of older drivers from creative

maybe try using your old drivers then?
