Does anyone know how to output to a TV on an IBM T40? The only type of video out connection is for a external monitor - are there adapters that can allow you to plug that into a TV?

There is an s-video out port between the modem and usb ports on the left side of the system. if you dont have an s-video input on your tv you will need a s-video converter. Best Buy should have them. Then you will need to change you settings in the display properties to get output from the tv.

Ohh... I always thought that was a mouse input thing. Thanks

if you shop around online or at radio shack, you can easily find a cable that converts s-video to RCA video. Same goes for audio (headphone plug to stereo RCA).

On a side note, you wouldn't happen to be a freshman at Rensselaer Polytechnic, would you? That class got the T40s this year =P
