Who makes the best dvd-rw/ +rw drive? what brand?

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the Plextor PX708A (http://www.newegg.com/app/ViewProductDesc.asp?description=27-131-310&catalog=5&manufactory=BROWSE&depa=1) (i'm a bit biased) but many people like the Sony DRU models also. Plextor, Pioneer, Sony, and LiteOn are among the best. There are lots of other good ones though.

Plextor 708A. Mine freaking rocks, burns 8x speed on 4x media.
