There are games that you just HAVE to play because you hear they are so damn good. So what are the games you really want to play and finish but never get around to it? For me it would be:

KOTOR
Splinter Cell
Thief 1 & 2
Fallout 1 & 2
Baldur's Gate 2
Viewtiful Joe

I know I forgot a few, but what are yours?

I umm.....never...finished ........ *hooooo breathes deep* Final Fantasy 7.

I got to the very last part, walking down that cirular.. thing, I cant really remember what it was, but it was at the bottom of that mountain I think. I just didnt want my 99.99+ hours to go away, so I never finished it *weeeps*

I did the same thing to FF8, where there were those gates to a witch or some shit, cant remember that either

I would like to try some Galaxies just to see what the hubbubb is about, see if it would be more interesting that Eve (my first MMORPG expereince)

Save yourself the time and energy. I have played a bunch of MMOGs and this one has been the biggest let down. Pretty graphics, shitty gameplay. It might be good when the space expansion comes out.

As for games that I HAVE to play... hmmm

def. KOTOR
Morrowind

Are you serious?! You were at the VERY END OF THE GAME, Im talking ONE MORE FIGHT and then it is over.

You quit the game IN FRONT OF SEPHIROTH.
You must have SUPER WILL POWER X3, why did you do such a thing? I take it you never saw the ending???

Nopers, I wanted to finish it....it was a bitch cause the used copy I got was missing disc 2, but luckily I was able to breeze through that in one rental.
Plus my PS was one of the first, it didnt work very well and was VERY VERY slow, I had to turn that fucker over to get most games to work and they wouldnt always work.

huh???
you had problems with disc2?

so how does that stop you from beating the game, which is disc 3? maybe you just worded that post funny, cause i didnt understand what you just said....

I got a used copy of the game, it was missing disc 2, I breezed through that disc in 1 rental, but no, it doesnt at all explain why I didnt finish it.

I tihnk I didnt want to face the reality of the fact that I spent probably 200 hours getting my main characters to lvl 100 (or 99 which ever one it went to) and a few of those...master summoner stones, I forgot what they were called, and then the game would be over.

What Im trying to say, the game was so good I didnt want it to end, kind of like KOTOR. But with Kotor its short enough to finish and play the entire thing again. Ive played it through 3 times now

I've yet to play NOLF 1 & 2, Deus Ex 1 & 2, KOTOR, and whole mess of console games on all three non-portable consoles. I couldn't even come up with a consolidated list if I wanted. On the top of the list would probably be Disgaea and Wind Waker, since I've played both of them quite a bit but haven't beaten them.

Also, it doesn't really matter which MMOG you play, if you've never got into the genre. The vast majority of the time, your first MMOG will hook you for a couple months then you'll be disenchanted with the genre as a whole and most likely not get into another one as much as you did the first. I'd suggest FF11 as your first; at the very least you couldn't max your character out after one or two months of hardcore play (you wouldn't even come close). If you need PvP right away... well you're screwed. I've heard Anarchy Online still has some of the best PvP out there, but it's still quite unbalanced as a whole.

Well, I'm buying a gamecube so I can play Mario Kart: Double Dash, Metroid Prime, Wind Waker, FF:CC when it comes out, and a couple of others. I really want to get the Naruto 2 import.

Caeleum, the game never really ends, you always got that last save. :)

you missed out on a very nice and long ending, the CG is about 10 minutes alone. O_o
