For me it has to be BF1942/Desert Combat, although KOTOR has certainly taken up the last 10 days of my life completely.

BF1942
CoD
NFS:U
I'm going to also say BF1942/Desert Combat. I just can't help myself. That and Guilty Gear X2.
Oh, and I did spend the last 2 months of the year pretty much devoted to FFXI.

Tell me something about NFS:U...I played the demo and couldn't get past how the computer cheated in the drag race. If I was winning, then the other cars were suddenly faster than me and would sweep past me unless I had a huge lead. Plus the train and car which cross your path are based on YOUR timing, not the computers, so they don't always have to dodge these but you do.
That just got too frustrating for me and I couldn't enjoy the game. Is the retail version the same?

lol, I was so excited about getting COD on Christmas that I beat it in less than 2 days (I know I need a gf or something). But the game I spent the most time on was probably Bf1942 and Quake3

Wow. 2003 was really a low point in gaming. IMO. There was really nothing that kept my attention for very long. Not many challenging games, too many easy ones that you finish in 2 days. So *last* year the games I played the most *are*
Team Fortress Classic (Daily)
Metroid Prime
FZERO GX
PC games last year were way too freakin easy. I bought maybe 1 game all year for my PC. CoD. I only bought it cause of hype, really. Beat it in 3 days on hard.... meh

Another for Morrowind, Neverwinter Nights and HL (believe it or not, I can replay that game endlessly it seems.)

It's a toss up between Dungeon Siege and Tron. NFS:U took me only a matter of days to beat and was pretty easy except for a few races. I have BF1942 but don't play it at all except for lans since I'm on dialup. UT2K3 has taken up a little bit of tiime though, I've been downloading all of the mods I can get my hands on and testing them out, and there are some very good ones out there.

Midtown Madness 3
Egg242
01-03-2004, 12:25 PM
Bf/Dc for the first part of the year, then mid-sumer Delta Force Black Hawk Down took it, then in the fall D2: LOD took it, but I went back to Bf/Dc during the winter so it took the title in the end.

Well, I quit my job back in May to start my own company as I had a lot more spare time than the past 4 years (for example the 4 hours a day I used to commute):
====
PC
====
Halflife inc:
Counter Strike - 1.5 and 1.6 - Steam is not so good...
Natural Selection - great mod
Vampire Slayer - Under-rated in my opinion
UT2003 - a much better game now due to the mods:
Invasion Plus - co op vs waves of bad guys... sweeeet
Quake 3 - man I still play this 5 hours a week at least
====
Game Cube (pos that it is)
====
Crazy Taxi - most fun game in the world if you have 5 minutes to kill
Mortal Kombat Deadly Allience - still got a few coffins to open.
Hmmm - maybe I should spend more time working.....

My first inclination was to say KOTOR, which took me over 50 hours to finish, but the more I thought about your question, I think I spent the most time on Wolfenstein: Enemy Territory.
I would play 2 - 4 hour per night each day after it came out, and I think I ended up logging well over 100 hours when I finally got tired of playing it. I haven't touched it in over 5 months, but now that I'm thinking about it, maybe it's time to play it again and see how the community is doing. :)

I spend a lot of time playing various mods for Morrowind,
IL-2 Sturmovik: Forgotten Battles never seems to get old,
Learning Falcon 4.0 in-depth is a rather large, time consuming task--fun though!
