Need movie ---> divx proggy

Im looking to find a program that can turn anything I want into divx. These home movies are too big, need to convert them =p.

Cool, Ill try these out. Anyone else know of any good easy to use programs? I want to be able to just click a few times and it goes to work, I dont want to set up a bunch of bs.

hmmm, premier vs virtualdub, i wonder which has the price advantage for the average person who's not gonna blow a couple hundred bucks and certaintly wouldn't download it.

seriously though, virtualdub is great for 'simple' stuff, re-encoding, cropping, resizing, cutting parts out, contrast/brightness. it just doesn't do transitions and 'super' things but for the price you can't beat it
