first off....i hate IE, i use firebird but my gf likes to use explorer...she was just browsing the internet or whatever and she says my name and i come over and theres some crazy search bar by the address bar and whenever the page comes up that says, "the page cannot be displayed" is like forwards to another white and black page like that that says stuff about orbit search and stuff like that...

i removed the search bar and got the homepage and everything set back to normal via regedit but what can i do about the page that comes up following the page cannot be displayed one ?

also if i right click on a toolbar in IE it stills gives me an option for "Search Toolbar"...we have google toolbar so how can i get rid of that search toolbar entry when right clicking ?

I had the same issues with my brother in laws computer. But he had some stuff Hijacking his web browser too. This may help but you will have to install your IE plugins like shockwave and flash again after you are done, as well as google toolbar too. Download Hijackthis and CWShredder and run them both, make sure you run spybot when you are done to make sure you don't have any of that nasty spyware stuff around and then tell your girlfriend that if she is gonna download porn to stay on Kazaa :D

Here are links to the software, its free.
