Windows on both HD or no?

Is it safe to put windows on one HD and not on the other? I have a 12 gig as a master and the 60 as a slave, was wondering if I can keep the 60 gig with out windows on it, will it hurt it or make it slower?

You can have Windows installed on your 12 gig C:\ drive and use your other drive for storage. A slave drive has no need of an operating system.

however, its nice to have a second install (or room for one)
as a platform for parallel rescue and recovery
