using leadtek remote in other applications

i have the leadtek winfast tv2000xp tuner card that came with a remote. the remote is great when im watching tv or listening to the radio, but i really wish i could use it for watching dvds or controlling winamp. are there any programs that will let me do that? i found one called girder, but i have no clue at all how to configure it.

Girder should be able to. I remember seeing plugins for winfast 2000. I use a regular remote + USB-UIRT, so I can't say how to get your winfast to work. Check the girder forum. Usually a lot of information there.

you could also try a program called uICE (http://www.mediatexx.com).

Their site says there is support for WinFast TV2000 XP (Deluxe)
