My only comment is I'd probably go with a Maxtor. I'm planning on putting a Raid0 on my Max3 consisting of 2 160GB sata drives.

for SATA, WD is the best so far. Seagate is good, I wouldn't buy Maxtors at all. Customers tend to return Maxtors for RMAs on a constant basis. WD offers 3 years warranty on their drives and 5 years on their Raptors, where Seagate and Maxtor only offer 2 years, so that's another thing to look for.
