Now, for your problem... When I put my memory back in, I had a problem in flying and level load times. It seemed like when i jumped in the chopper, it flew a little while, lagged like crazy and i crashed. I checked everything out and it turned out that I didn't have one of the sticks seated correctly. I was playing on 512 vs my normal 768. I pushed it in and now i don't have any problems.
I was also having a problem with it crashing to the desktop between 30min and 3 hours of play. I found out that it was the sound settings. I scaled them back quite a bit and no problem since.
768 MB of memory? Wow that's a lot of memory. But sound could also do it. I have a current 512 MB of memory and is runs fine and it never locks up or has to use the memory cache on my HD. Maybe try going into your processes menu in the task manager and shut some of the stuff down and see what happens. Also keep in mind that he/she said that this ONLY happened while doing online gaming, so if this keeps on happening we mite have to turn to network or internet issues.
