Well I´m really looking for a CRT monitor and it seems as they don´t sell the 912 model here in Finland :(.

The Mitsubishi 930 is the same monitor... do they have those in Finland?
The "G" series Viewsonics are nice too.

The 912 has been out of production for at least a year it seems....From what I've heard the 930 is going out if it hasn't already. A shame, because it was the best one out in my book.

What's a good online vendor for monitors? I've read newegg should be avoided because of their return policy. I need to replace this samsung syncmaster 950p, it's ancient and starting to get a fuzzy picture.
Which flatscreen CRT truly is the best? I want to be blown away when I make the switch.

Monitors Direct has traditionally been a good monitor vendor. But their servers seem to be down. I've heard Techonweb had good ratings as well. I got mine from Dell though, very dependable and great return policy.

Get the Philips 109P40!!! It's a WOW monitor :)
104hz @ 1280 x 1024
and the Philips support services are excelent! i bought my 202P40 and it came damaged ... i received it on friday, and today they are changing with a new one! they go to your home, and make the switch! cost free off course. The support on Mitsu and View isn't very good ( and they are with financial problems ... :| )

!UPDATE!
Don't get the Philips ...
Well ... in the first hand i was amazed with Philips support ... my 202P40 was damaged ... and today they bring me another one! wow! in 2 work days! nice ...
or not ...
This monitor ... is total f***ed up! ... 1600 x 1200 @ 100Hz is totally unworkable ... i just can't get the screen to its maximum siz ... i feel like i'm working on a 16:9 monitor ... but ... with a 90º rotation ... and the blur ... oh my god ... i just can't get the letters sharp.
I went to 1600x1200 @ 85Hz ... Well ... The BLUR is just ... too much ... i can see 2 letters were there's only one! Oh... and i really don't think that monitor is brand new ...
So, What do you think ... Show i ask for my money back or try another one?
2 on the row ... damn ... i asked the delivery guy if he can turn it back again, but he said no ... that i had to contact philips again in order to create another complain note ... I'm kind of ... "bored" with all this situation. I must work and i really can't ...
you using a decent vga cord?
