The wallpaper on the other side of the room is worse. I have it covered in wallscrolls. :rolleyes: That would mean I would have to stay in another room for a while to change this one. Bad enough just to clean this one. I have way too much junk to cram in here. Ducky ownz you! Little hard to fit my hand into now to make him work as a puppet properly. :(

Nah these emperor scorpions are the ones they use in movies. They are pretty tame and their sting is about as bad as a bee sting. He likes crawlin around and playin w/ me. Now the little bark scorpions that are in my garage and backyard...those have a nasty sting, but still wont usually kill ya.

I used anti-static wipes or alcohol wipes. Same effect as that bottle of alcohol and a cotton ball. Just use sparingly when using cotton balls. Don't want to gob it on and drip into something where it shouldn't go.

Well it's basically the exact same design as mine, only mine's leather. Yeah, I love the whole headrest thing.....being a lazy gamer and all. ;)

I can understand why some people don't like leather but really.....it gets pretty damn cold. :p

It's actually not very good 'cus now the comfort is an added inscentive for me to STAY at the computer.

My mouse is on a mousepad called "icemat" (www.icemat.com), and no, it has no problems with the optical lens.

I took "wasd" from a white version of the same keyboard (keytronic kt1000) and replaced them with the white ones.

First thing i would do is check your local office supply stores and funiture stores. If you do not like what they offer, then i would recommend you check out online stores. There are a ton (some are very pricey though).

Most of the "corner" desks are called L shaped........ also, ive looked at some other companies, such as Bush, and they just did'nt seem as great quality. (they were flimsy, not sure if it was just how they were put together though).

Expect to pay between 100-300$US for a good desk (depending on store).

Where have you seen the Bush desks? If it's at your local Office Max or Office Depot then the "flimsiness" is most likely due to the workers lazily putting the desk together. I bought a desk from Office Max (Bush Computer Workstation). Took me a while to get the main panel delivered without it being cracked significantly but I can vouch for the durability of their desks. I have actually sat on and jumped on this desk (both in store and at home) and its retained its shape. Holds a good amount of weight as well. I had a 20" TV on it before and all was fine. If the desk is put together well then there should be no flimsiness. They test these desks against those types of problems. They have to drop weights on them and such. (Or maybe that's just for chairs) Anyway, they do test the desks for durability or sturdiness. In conclusion, Bush makes good desks. As does O'Sullivan.

You said a 20" tv. I know my family has a 27" tv, and that thing is huge, and weighs about 110 pounds.

But, with my comp desk, i have a 20g tank..... which weighs about 160 pounds over about 1/3 the area of a TV. Darn things still holding it........ been about a year and a half, no warping what so ever. So no complaints there.

I got my desk about 2 years ago, from my local circuitcity. It was a discounted "discontinued" model. i think it was 200$ with 50$ mail in rebate.......... im just gonna be sad once i leave for college next year........... gonna miss this desk!

I just turned my computer on about a half hour ago...
Case temps are 18C and my 2500+ @ 2.3ghz right now is 32c, I guess this would be idle.

My friend has the Aquarius II as well, 2500+ also, and he gets about 4-5C lower than I do. Newer stepping on his CPU.

It's a nice little system.
I'm upgrading though, dtek n the like.

That reminds me of my old setup. I used to have my computer in my walk in closet and it was pretty cool. One nice thing about that is that if you've got some nice speakers, it REALLY helps the bass out 'cus it reverberates so much in a corner like that.

I bought my computer when the 2.0s were the hottest things on the market.

My mom had a bunch of software with hers.

Plus a 3yr warranty on both.

hey Thaddy, how are the Promedia's??? It's amazing you've got any room to put your feet with that monster sub box down there. No I dont use the seat belt, but the damn u-pull-it yard charged me and extra 5 bucks b/c it had the seat belt attachment. I only paid $21 so I aint made at cha. The table the monitor is on came from target for $20 with wheels (since i dont have tilt on my steering wheel). BTW the force feedback wheel and pedals are 4sale PM if interested.

91 Civic Si/CRX, I believe its one of the three year (90-92) that racaro made the seats. It very nice, especially to watch movies in. And my g/f and I can practice our "positioning" for the real thing

Yeah, I'm slowly turning into a huge audiophile. For my birthday in a few months I'm gonna get some Etymotics earbuds:eek: The summer will bring an Ipod as well.

The HD212's are pretty good, awesome considering the price. They are great for a low budget gamer:)

Actually i just finisched the cabling ... and i like it clean inside my comps ;)

The Samsungs are old ... bout 3 years or so ... Model is : Syncmaster 950p but they work perfectly :)

Case is a Casetek 1018 and the desk is from IKEA ;)

Keyboards is called Sharkoon Luminous - it has blue backlight :D

i'm form germany so i dunno where you can buy the case and keyboard -> need more info ... google ;)

O well, It's still an amazing case.....although it'd probly do you good to dremel out that PCI card stablizer thing in front.....it's completely useless.
