I have a 4870x2 and 850Watt PSU, and was waiting for 4870 prices to come down for a crossfire setup. I only game at 1920x1200 resolution.

It looks like this is the cheapest 4870 1GB card that doesn't dump all the heat into the case:

Would I be better served w/ this essentially tri-crossfire arrangment in Windows 7, a different 4870 card, or just sell the 4870x2 on ebay and pickup a single newer design? Appreciate any input before pulling the trigger. :D

selfish self-bumpage, as I'm ordering tnight unless someone can smack some sense into me. :D

I'd sell the 4870x2 and get a 5850...then get another 5850 and crossfire them. Of course, the 5850 is pretty hard to find.
