This is a relatively new panel, anyone uses this particular model as a monitor? Want to get some input/opinion on this. (Newegg Link (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16889005061&Tpk=32LF11))

I cannot find IPS specified on LG's site. It may be a Sharp panel which LG bought millions of a couple of years ago. Until someone get's a look at one I wouldn't expect IPS. I wouldn't buy it from newegg anyway, take a look at their return policy.

Here's a thread about it over at AVS...

I have a 42LH30, which apparently is an S-IPS panel. The viewing angles are pretty good on the panel, as well as having pretty low input lag. I can't complain too much about the model. :)
