Madden 10. or madden in general. please look

I just bought madden 10, and I have had every madden since 2001, I dont get why they show u something one year and take it away later.? so far I am not sure if I like 10 I thought madden 9 was pretty complete, and 10 is a little different although I like the half time show..

is it just me or did they take these out of 10?
1. playmakers, the Icon's that used to be under the star players on your team, IE Devin hester would have a speed icon..

2. lineman control. when u used to do running plays u used to be able to set up your own blocks? I cant seem to be able to do that anymore...

3. when u are looking at the recievers and like one of them would have a orange line "that shows your primary one" I cant figure out how to change it.?

thats it so far, although my running game is slacking cuz I cant do my own blocks, and it seems that passing on the run isn't what it used to be...

i do miss the lineman blocks. it has definitely changed my game. the other things i havent really noticed or care about.

They always seem to be doing this. I loved the career mode in 06 or 07 where you basically did everything, they have continually taken stuff out of career since then. I also liked the playmakers bonuses. It was a pretty nifty system.
