Around 60GB for around $150?
Im wondering if the speed increase from anything in that range to the vertex is substantial?
thank you

Gonna assume that since you mentioned the Vertex that you're looking for one of the faster indilinx based drives, which is what you should be aiming for to avoid the pauses and stuttering present in older SSD drives.

If that's the case then the lowest price i can think of for an indilinx based drive is the Super Talent Ultradrive Me (http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&Item=380134896761) for $175 shipped when combined with the 8% Bing/Live cashback discount. If you have a 10% ebay coupon in your inbox then the price would drop down to $156.

If you're not interested in that offer for whatever reason, well then you're in the same boat as the rest of us. We're all waiting for the prices to drop on the better, faster, larger capacity SSD drives, and the good 60gb drives haven't reach the $150 point yet ;)

Still surprised you don't like those prices... OCZ Vertex 60GB is 243,02€ with VAT here - that is $337 :). $337 vs $190 and you guys are still complaining. :D
