Are there any known issues with 2 paired together?
I was running Vista x64 and used imgburn without issue with cd's and DVD's ..even burned the Win7 x64 ISO to DVD right before installing Win7 x64 on the same computer with said burned DVD ...
Now tho , I was just simply trying to burn Ubuntu 9.04 to a cd and kept getting I/O errors .. I tried a couple different times wasting my blank cd's with the same result thinking maybe I had a bad disc .. I redownloaded the iso image even and retried ...didn't think a bad image would give me I/O errors but thought what the heck ..still got I/O errors with new iso ..
Finally , I transferred the same ISO image over to an XP box I have on my network and used the same type of blank media and then with imgburn was able to successfully burn the ISO image to CD without issue ..
..I'm at work right now so can't put up any log files , but the DVD drive is an IDE DVD +/- RW on an Abit IP35 Pro mobo ..
Just wondering if there is a known issue or did my DVD coincidentally take a dump right after installing Win7 ..or is Win7 a lot more touchy when it comes to overclocking as I do have my Q6600@3.0ghz w/4gb of ram .. I guess I'll try stock speeds when I get home tomorrow and see..
