I found (and bought) this on Amazon (ANTonline) last night and figured it was a refurb, open-box or whatever but it looks to be a brand new full-retail package:

http://www.antonline.com/p_Asus--RA...rewire--USB-2.0--Serial-ATA--RAID-_579777.htm

$233.02 + $12.92 shipping (and no tax for me in CA) = $245.94

That's less than the Asus P6T Deluxe costs and also less than you would find the RIIE used in the F/S/T forum!!! I hadn't seen this board under $350 before so this seems like a great deal!

that is smoking... doesn't say anything about being a refurb.

if i didnt have my classified id definately buy it, this is the only other board id consider using

I know . . . trust me, I scoured the listing checking to see if it was a refurb or a NewEgg-like open-box with board only and no accessories) but it's listed as "NEW". And it's also through Amazon so I'm pretty comfortable ordering thru them.

Looks like a smoking price to me. Two other sellers dropped their prices on Amazon to try and match I think is why they're also selling for lower. Any other time though this is a $350+ board. I ordered one through Amazon to get another 3% back.

Shit. I almost bought one before I decided on the EVGA X58 3X SLI Classified for $329.99. I thought that was a bargain.

whoa, where'd you find the NF200 version of the classified for $330? the lowest i saw was $430 at newegg with free shipping, but now they raised it to $450 without free shipping :(

D'oh - I didn't know Amazon did the cashback deal too! Oh well, sweet enough deal as is!

+3 - even though I just bought this RIIE, I'd buy the Classified for $330 without blinking an eye!!!

I was actually searching Amazon for the EVGA Classified when I found this RIIE deal and I "settled" for the RIIE. The board I really want is the Classified.

Share, Dan, share!!!

I'm almost hoping this is a price mistake, because I really shouldn't have bought one! Wife offered to let me build a i7 system last week, but I thought the boards were still too pricey. This was cheaper then the mid range boards I was looking at then though, that makes the decision much easier!

It's not - there were at least three other sellers that had the board priced under $250 last night but the others were ones I'd never heard of. I've at least heard of ANTonline and have seen them for awhile now so they're not some fly-by-night, here-today-gone-tomorrow etailer. That's why I ordered from them instead of the others.

Yup, I checked their scores and all looked good. Looks like I'll be treking out to Microcenter to pickup a cpu as soon as I get tracking confirmation.

Any great deals on DDR3 lately?

on newegg you can get some 6gb (3 x 2gb) ocz kits for around $50-75, which i assume is pretty good, and people dont seem to be having much problems with them

im guessing dan got some kind of combo deal at newegg to get the classified that cheap...

damn i almost wanna order one of these just for the sake of it as it's so cheap for what it is.

I paid the normal price for the Classified. I almost purchased a ASUS Rampage II Extreme for $329.99 which was the cheapest I had seen it until today.

Thanks OP and Dan! Grabbed the MB and RAM (+ the free 8gb flash drive I can always figure out something to do with) for less than I was going to pay for the base Asus model and 6GB of OCZ gold last weekend.

This is smoking hot! I would have picked one up but I just built my P6T rig recently.

That OCZ memory has been working great for me as well.

doesn't look like this price is reflected on Amazon.com anymore but the direct link to antonline.com still shows the price active. I'd say anyone else wanting this price better act quick before they come to their senses!

Thanks OP .... just couldn't pass up on that price. :D

I was going to wait and pick up a classfied but figured I'd try this board out considering the price.

The Rampage II Extreme is a great board. I almost went for it rather than the EVGA X58 3X SLI Classified.

Thats good to hear.... Maybe we can swap motherboards once you get bored with your Classified :p

I'll probably pick up a classified in the future... but for now this will defintely do :D

Why bother with the Classified after getting the Rampage II Extreme. Doesn't make sense to me. Oh well, to each their own.

Both are outstanding boards, one with a featureset different than the other....perhaps he's considering the future?

I think i'd go with the classified over this if i were going SLI again... but the r2e is one sweet ride.

Just like some people ...always like to do some benching and try out different hardware.

The classifieds and DFi's seems to be able to achieve higher BLCKs if your trying to squeeze every overlock from your system or planning more xtreme cooling on the Classified like phase change or LN2

But if your goal is not overlocking with your system then I see your point about it not being worth it..

If you are not overclocking, it's best just buy a dell with some humongous coupon lol

I thought that place cheated me out of my order, but I got it like a month later. I only ordered headphone adapters for my phone, or I would have been extremely worried. They weren't helpful at all when I contact them.

Their reseller ratings are bad. I went through Amazon like you. They had decent ratings there but a few doofs said dumb stuff like "well, it's the first time amazon screwed up so I'll give 4 stars."

I wish you luck, but if this is actually a great price, that makes me even more skeptical.

Thanks for the info. Mine is supposed to ship on Monday or Tuesday. If it doesn't arrive by the 22nd I can file a claim through Amazon or at worst a chargeback. 5% bad reviews of of 6.4k in 30 days through doesn't look too bad, but this deal did look a bit too good to me at first glance as well.

damnit, this board won't fit in most HTPC ATX cases :( Almost ordered two... grr

Smoking hot if they send me a new board at this price. Finally a reason to switch over to i7! in for 1..

I'm guessing they accidentally entered in the X48 Rampage Extreme price. Smoking if it goes through
