I need an external USB drive, at least 250GB if not larger, but im having trouble trying to find a good one.

These are what I am looking for

1. Size is important, the smaller the better. Preferably not that much larger than either a 2.5 or 3.5 inch drive.

2. It must be able to work off a single USB port, no AC required adapter or 2-usb-port enclosures. I don't care if an AC adatper is optional, as long as it can get enough power off a single USB port and the adapter isn't required.

3. It dosen't matter if it is a standalone external drive or if you can recommend an external bay and an internal drive to go along with it.

4. It needs to appear as a standard USB mass strorge device when plugged into anything, so no devices that need special drivers/software to work or for initial setup, preferably no special functions (one-button-backup, etc) on the device either.

5. I would prefer a device that dosen't need to be placed in any specific position (horizontal, vertical, etc) and can function in any position.

6. Appearance dosen't matter to be, but if the device comes in different colors, I would prefer white.

7. Finally........ yeah.... on top of all this I can't really get an expensive device, but I am not about to buy some $40 device that has a million defects and problems listed with it. So please no incredibly expensive $80-100+ devices (or combo drive and encosure that adds up to more than that), but I am not going to go for a device that has thousands of complaints in user review sites about it breaking down, having no support, constant problems, etc. I am not sure if this one is even possible for under $80 (preferably around $60) but that is why I am asking.
