I've got an older Abit AI7 MB with SATA1 ports built in. I've also got a WD Black 1TB drive. Should I jumper 5/6 to slow the drive down to 1.5 speed? What happens if the drive detects without a jumper on the 1.5 speed? Could this happen, or is it not possible? Would I cause any harm to leave it like that?
