Ok, I'm looking to able to get the most out of BR Audio and Audio in general.
I use my PS3 for Movies, and I don't think my current reciever can give me what I want.

The receiver I currently have is: SONY STR-K900
It came with this HTIB: http://www.sonystyle.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/ProductDisplay?catalogId=10551&storeId=10151&langId=-1&productId=11035125

This is what Receiver will be powering:

Center: POLK CS1

Fronts: POLK Monitor 40

Surround: POLK Monitor 30

Subwoofer: Acoustic Audio HD-SUB12 12"

This is the equiment I have:

Comcast HD Cable Box: HDMI

Playstation 3: HDMI

Xbox360 (old model) + HDDVD addon: Component + Optical

Now from what I gather I don't really need a Receiver that decodes de fancy HD Audios and stuff, since the PS3 and alot of Bluray players can decode it, I can get by with a cheaper receiver that can do LCPM, they sound quality will be the same as the fancier receiver.

So here are some choices I've put together:

Sony STR-DH700 $234.55

http://www.amazon.com/Sony-STR-DH700-Channel-Receiver-Black/dp/B001TCML9Q/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1241049054&sr=1-1

Onkyo TX-SR576 $299

http://www.amazon.com/Onkyo-TX-SR576-Channel-Theater-Receiver/dp/B0016HNVD4

Onkyo TX-SR606 $300ish for Factory Reconditioned

http://www.accessories4less.com/make-a-store/item/ONKTXSR606/Onkyo/TX-SR606-90w-x-7ch-HDMI-Theater-Receiver-BLACK/1.html

YAMAHA RX-V565 $329 Usually at this sale price at newegg

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16882115195

Now what worries me a bit about the Onkyo is that they seem to have some Buzzing problem with the PS3 due to the Audyssey's room correction technology????

So what do you guys recommend for me?

I think you'd get a much better quality receiver with one of these Marantz units:

That's a nice price on the 6001; it used to be much, much more.

Keep what you have now unless its broken, upgrading your receiver won't do much good with those speakers you are using.

Yeah, if I didn't have my Denon (which I absolutely love :)) I'd snag that 6001.
