I know, I know, Google it... I've used several guides/programs/patterns to calibrate my screens in the past and it's never seemed to work for the better though. I know that you can buy professional calibrating hardware as well but the investment's probably not worth it for me, I'm no web designer nor does my job depend on Photoshop, I don't need super accurate colors...

Frankly all I probably need is basic color temp adjustment and contrast/brightness... I seem to be able to dial in my TVs well enough using stuff like that THX routine and such, but for some reason doing a similar chore on my computer screens never fares as well.

So, is there any idiot-proof guide out there to walk one thru it? :p Any pointers otherwise?
