got a problem with vista atm...

it just locks up after a while and all the programs that are running say (not responding), downloads stop and i cant even get task manager up... any ideas???
and its running abit slow......

and i sum times get a reference to memory error that closes explorer.exe
also the resource cash builder stops working...... <---- some times when this stops the pc runs fine :S:o

a few of my installed programs have also started going very slow..
when the games start they run fine

Sounds like a bad memory module. You may want to run memtest86 and see if you get any errors.

i have replaced my ram once because one on the modules were broken :S is there anything that can cause ram to brake?

Too high voltage, bad MB, static when installing them.

well the motherboard is brand new :S i havnt touched the voltages of the ram.......

It definitely sounds like either bad memory, a corrupt windows install, or some type of malware. Did you reinstall windows after your previous bad memory? A bad memory module can serious trash your install after enough crashes.

no i didnt dude, and malware hmm ill have to scan unless you can recomend a program for me...

Malware bytes is a pretty popular scanner around here. Since you didn't reinstall, that could very well be it. I've dealt with two computers in the past few months with bad memory (one Vista, one XP 64) and in both cases the Windows install ended up getting corrupted. Replacing the mem then resinstalling took care of the issues.
