OK how much bloat is this going to do to the install???

WINDOWS 7 WILL HAVE a feature called Anytime Upgrade to purportedly allow cheapskate users to cough up for a fuller-featured version of the operating system when they realise most of the bells and whistles they expected don't work.
I guess its another title for the Vista 5 install bloatware but F why can't they get anything right.
Ah well windows is bloatware and that is all they can get right

it doesn't make them upgrade, the users have a choice to upgrade or not

You apparently are nothing but a troll and have no idea what you're talking about

Anytime Upgrade is already a feature in Windows Vista and I do not expect Windows 7 to act any differently.

By the way you can read all about Anytime Upgrade on Microsoft's website but it's apparent you're too lazy to do that.

But anyways Anytime Upgrade doesn't upgrade your system right then and there. You actually get shipped a specialized upgrade DVD that will upgrade say your Windows Vista Home Premium x86 to Windows Vista Ultimate x86.

It works like a normal upgrade from XP to Vista. You drop in the DVD and boot off it. Follow the instructions and you get upgraded. No bloat no nothing.

WTF are you talking about. I am using win7 7068 on a old laptop and it is very fast with no adverse effects due to bloat. no background BS no having to disable a bunch of BS startup programs and I also have office 2007 with a of the new live features running with no tweaking.
