I dont know what is going on but this is strange.
I had a Seagate 500 SATA drive and also a old WD 80GB IDE drive (partitioned into 4 small drives).
I have my OS installed on the seagate and no OS on the WD but data and its almost full.. I have my computer open for a while now and the drives were on the floor on my carpet hooked up to my computer.
Ok. now today I try to install nero and it says drive C is low on disk space. I am like wtf it can't be because I only have windows XP on that 500GB disk and nothing else.
I click on the disk property and it says 50Mb left of 10gb. I was like thats crazy. So I turn off my computer and then I removed the 80gb IDE drive and left only the 500gb sata drive.
I power my pc back up and went into window and it shows drive C without the extra drives on the IDE drive. So I click on property and it still says 50Mb left of 10GB. I click on the hardware tab and it says ST3500320AS. So if it does read the correct name of the drive then why is it not showing the correct size and so on?
Oh wait. Another thing is ummm when I remove the SATA drive and then put the IDE drive which I have never installed a OS on before, it shows that drive have 5 partition now including a drive C with all the files on the SATA drive.
This is sooooo weird. What in the hell just happen????????
