1. I set my music library to sort by"date modified" so every time I download a new song it puts it at the top. but When I play an MP3 that's already on the list it puts it a the top of the list and when I check properties it says it was modified.

2.I have a folder on my WD80 storage drive that won't delete(Virus?) I tried every thing I can think of to get rid of it but it won't delete.. it says

You need permission to perform this action

You require permission from S-1-21-1801674531-1644491937-839522115-1003 to make changes to this folder.

I did a search for it on google but nothing showed up.

I'm using Windows 7 64 bit I formatted and reinstalled but it still refuses to let me delete it from my WD 80GB storage drive.

Any suggestions??

1) You didn't mention what player you are using. I use WMP and there is a choice for a Date Created column that should do what you are looking for (there's also the recently added, but that won't stick around forever). You may have to add it through Choose Columns. Assuming you are doing this from one big Explorer window, the same column can be chosen.

2) The second looks like some kind of system folder, but could be a virus I suppose. If you are hell bent on getting rid of it, be sure that there's nothing in that's being accessed. You might try deleting it when you are logged on as Administrator (not just a user with Administrator rights); you might try an Administrator level command window and deleting it from there but you'll have to make sure it empty first or you won't be able to remove the directory; you can always try something like a delete on reboot program that'll delete the file before the system rights take control of it (MoveOnBoot works well for this) or maybe a BartPE disc.

You need to "take ownership" of the folder/files.
