Hello, I'm looking for a way to synchronize some Outlook 2007 data (calendar, contacts) on different computers. I am much on the way and therefore seek a possibility to access my working folders and important files from my Notebook and Desktop Pc. I already heard of a lot of Sync programs and wanted to ask for your experiences in general. Perhaps someone has a tip on how to do this the easiest way? Greetings, mandy

If you are looking for free, you might want to give syncplicity a try. Runs automatically, keeps versions of your documents, backs it up securely.
I use Syncback Pro. I tried syncplicity, but I didn't like the versioning and there's no way to turn it off, so now I just use Syncback to backup to my personal FTP server from 2 computers - that keeps them both in sync.

If you are getting your mail through an Exchange server it would sync automagically, sounds like you're using POP3 though. :(

Store your files on a thumb drive. No need to synchronize or use the internet, just plug it in where ever you want to work.
For outlook, the best solution is an exchange server. Since that's overkill for one person, you can subscribe to a hosted exchange server for $5 - $10 / month. If you use a PDA or windows mobile phone, you can use Activesync to keep everything synchronized through your mobile device.
