These are nice for sure. Its a tight fit for any 280+ nvidia card though if you put drives in that cage. FYI.

Forgive my ignorance, but are there any really good features about this case? I mean, it just looks like an ordinary mid-tower with brushed finish.

Have you ever owned a Lian Li?

Fit and Finish are excellent. They are well thought out and are built really well.

No sharp edges, no messed up rivets, no bad fits, everything just looks and works perfectly on almost all their cases.

More like anodized awesomeness finish that will make you orgasm every time you stare at your case (Looks at Case) *shudder*

Thanks guys. The only Lian-li I've ever "owned" was the one that you could put the fishies in the side panel, like the mini aquarium. I didn't really own it since it was a custom build for one of my client's daughter, who works at an aquarium (go figure)

This Lian-Li is basically the old school Lian-Li cases but modified with 2x120mm fans instead of all of the 80mm ones. It's a nice case. I had one a few years back and now my father has it. This is the case that sold me on Lian-Li.

Great case. I have one sitting empty in my attic, since I snagged one of the full tower Lian Li Rocketfish cases from Best Buy last year for $50.

this is pretty much the same as the pc -60 usb i bought for $100 in 2001, but with 120mm fans and less aluminum parts. still has the half-assed 80mm blowhole in the top that you cant use because the psu covers it. also this doesnt have sliding mb tray. ok for the price. no-frills old school lian li with some cost saving cuts.

You sure about that?

I have a slightly different version, but with the 80mm blow hole in the top middle like this one and my PSU does not cover it at all (HX620).

I bought this case last time this deal was up. My front 120mm fan is kind of noisy, but I can sleep with it on. The 80mm on top is not covered by my SeaSonic S12 550W but I can see the cable are near. My last case was a cheap piece of junk, but there are quite a few cable routing options available in the Lian Li. The front LED's are very bright, I cover them at night. The front headphone port is noisy when hooked to the MB, I don't use them except for the USB. It's probably not the case's fault.

It's also very light weight. I was almost shocked when it first arrived.

People interested in this case may also want to consider this one:

Lancool PC-K7B (http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811112154)

Its basically the same as the PC-7B, except it was built under the 'Lancool' name, comes with 2 x 120mm front intake fans instead of one, has 5 internal hard drive bays instead of 3 (in a removable hard drive cage as well), has a removable motherboard tray, the I/O front panel is mounted on the top of the case instead of on the bottom, and its $10 cheaper than the PC-7B (though this is probably offset by the lack of free shipping).

For roughly the same amount as the PC-7B, you get a few nicer options. I have the PC-K10B, and its by far the easiest I've ever worked with. The modular motherboard tray makes installation a breeze. My only complaint is that the modular hard drive cage is annoying to work with, it has a lot of very tiny screws you need to work through before you can remove it.

It is also not all aluminum like the Lian Li PC-7B, whether this is a plus to some or not.

Lian Li makes some sweet cases but thier quality is not as good as it used to be. I had issues with the past two caes ive gotten from them. My A20B is a 400$ case but yet after mounting the motherboard the pci cards barely fit in the slots. As if the mobo tray was set to deep or the stand offs were not tall enough. I ended up using spacers under the standoffs to get a perfect fut but feel this should not have been needed. The places where the aluminum was bent had lost some of the black anodized color. These are things I never ran into with the previous 4 I owned. I havent ran anything but Lian Li cases for years.
