Has anyone else run into this one..

I've installed the windows 7 beta as a new installation on my zd8000 hp laptop..

Everything appeared to install correctly, except that sounds that play are seriously slurred, stuttered and delayed..

At first i thought it was an internet connection issue, but the same happens with locally played files.

Any thoughts..

Try installing the Vista sound drivers.

Try installing the Vista sound drivers.

Unfortunately HP doesnt have audio drivers for vista listed.. they did have xp.. tried those.. same slurring is still going on.
